I am Thomas Biekötter, a theoretical particle physicist and Junior Leader Fellow at the Instituto de Física Teórica (IFT) in Madrid.

I lead a research group focused on the interplay between collider physics and gravitational wave astronomy. My work explores how these disciplines connect and complement each other to advance our understanding of fundamental phenomena in the universe, with a particular interest in the nature of the electroweak phase transition.

My position is funded by the Fundación "la Caixa" under the project "Exploring the Unknown: Bridging the LHC and Gravitational Wave Astronomy in the Search for New Physics and Hidden Sectors".
